Anyone willing to host up some of their free audio files?  I'd love to get some more stuff besides the NWN soundtrack, heh.

I'm a musician, so I believe in supporting other musicians who do not distribute their music for free.  I'd prefer to not allow or advertise the illegal distribution of music through this site.

The Soundtrack Ripping forum has links to a number of free soundtracks.

I also have been downloading a bunch of MMORPG trials to get the music from them.

? You misunderstood me duder... I meant, share free stuff that you created.  I'm something of a musician, but I certainly wouldn't try to charge somebody for some ambient track I cobbled together, heh.  I mean, I ain't Richard D. James or nothin' (and neither is anyone else, for that matter).

That's all I meant!

Ah, okay, sorry about that.

Unfortunately I haven't produced a whole lof of finished work as far as fantasy music goes. :-( I've been thinking of picking up Garritan Personal Orchestra and taking a stab, but that would probably only distract me from making progress with the application.

Here's a project a found recently:

Quote
Background music for pen&paper roleplaying games and just easy and atmospheric listening.

In other news, I got closer to automating the build on the train this morning.

Thanks for the link - downloading the project as a big zip.  It's finnish, so I'm probably going to get computer-herpes, but oh well.

Where do you live?

I'm in New York, about 30 minutes from New York City.
