My plan to get back in gear with RPG Audio Mixer was interrupted by the fact that I recently moved at the end of January. Things have begun to settle down so hopefully I can get back in gear with this application.

There’s still a lot to get my head around with RCP, which would delay any work that I’d do with RPGAM using it, so I’m debating just getting the current version nailed down a bit more, with easier distribution, bug fixes and some additional features. Although the Eclipse Rich Client Platform look is nice, I don’t know that the functionality it brings is worth the delay in learning curve that it would cause.

I also wanted to mention that Jeremy Soule recently released the soundtracks for Oblivion and Dungeon Siege II on his DirectSong web site. Although RPG Audio Mixer doesn’t support DRM’d Windows Media files, you can burn the soundtracks to CD and then re-rip them as MP3 and import them into RPG Audio Mixer.
